Head Instructor

Drew Martz

BIO:

I have been playing hockey since I was four and a few years later showed a real passion for Goaltending. I went on to play Goal for Chilliwack Minor Hockey. From Minor Hockey I had the opportunity to make Team Fraser Valley in BC Hockey’s High Performance program. Further in my career, I played junior hockey in the BCHL (Jr. A) and PIJHL (Jr. B). I have been a goalie coach for Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Hope Minor Hockey for over 10 years. I have previously worked with Magic in the Net, Athletes in Action and Valley Sports Zone. With the combination of goalie instruction and playing experience, I now have a wealth of experience to development all levels of goaltending.

Fun Fact about Cole is that he was the first goalie who was trained by Monster Goal Tenders to win a provincial title. After finishing his final year of playing goalie he took a large interest in teaching young goalies. Cole has been teaching since 2015 with Monster Goal Tenders and looks forward to working with all goalies coming up through Minor Hockey.
